We were talking about his art, and those that have seen his work will know that he was avery talented artist. I asked him how he worked. He said that he worked mainly from photos but had done some pictures from memory. The nexf time we met he handed me a package. Inside was a small oil which he had painted from memory of a view from his home in Wales when he was growing up. He had painted it some years back but was most insistent thst I should have it. It reminds me both of his talent as an artist and his generosity as a man. Mark
